Triple instruction for Rapleys

Tags: , , , ,

The Birmingham office of national planning and property consultancy Rapleys has been instructed to let three retail and leisure developments in Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire, on behalf of Godwin Developments.

Brampton Hut, on Great North Road, Brampton, in Huntingdon, comprises 8,500 sq ft of retail space, of which 5,358 sq ft has been pre-let to Burger King, Starbucks, Subway and Greggs.

The new build development is located close to Alconbury Weald, a 1,420-acre enterprise campus scheme, where 5,000 new homes and three million sq ft of business space is planned.

At Pineham Village Neighbourhood Centre, Northampton, Rapleys is marketing five retail units, totaling 12,600 sq ft.

The units sit within the proposed Pineham Village, where Taylor Wimpey is building 625 new homes, as well as a new primary school and community centre.

In Wellingborough, 9,232 sq ft of retail and drive-thru/restaurant space, split across four units, is being built at Park Farm Way, a mixed-use development comprising commercial and residential accommodation.

The instructions will be managed by Rapleys’ Retail and Leisure Development team in Birmingham.

Alfred Bartlett, partner and head of Rapley’s Birmingham office, said: “Since opening the Birmingham office earlier this year we have continued to strengthen Rapley’s presence in the retail and leisure development sector with a number of new instructions.

“The Godwin Developments instruction further endorses Rapleys’ reputation in the sector and we’re looking forward to helping bring these schemes to fruition.”

Stuart Pratt, development director at Godwin Developments, said: “Thanks to Rapleys we have secured blue-chip operators on a pre-let basis across the three sites. Rapleys’ knowledge and expertise allows us to work with tenants to secure the most efficient design and delivery of the developments.”
